Coming To My Senses
At a motocross race in 1999, Aaron Baker broke his neck. He was left completely paralyzed from the neck down because of the accident. Over the next 16 years, Aaron decided not to listen to the people who said he had a million-to-one chance of never being able to feed himself again. He worked hard to regain as much mobility as possible. This journey through the unknown took him from the depths of depression to the joys of cross country road trips on a tandem bicycle with his mother and friends. Finally, it led him to open a low-cost gym that focuses on improving mobility for the disabled. In Coming to My Senses, we see Aaron take one last journey that symbolizes his recovery: he walks 20 miles through Death Valley alone, without any help from anyone else. But will he?
