Confession of Murder
A family member of a victim commits suicide by jumping off a building in front of Choi Hyeong-goo, the investigator in charge of the case, on the day the 15-year statute of limitations on a high-profile serial murder case that claimed the lives of ten women expires. Almost two decades later, a guy named Lee Doo-seok publishes a book titled "I Am the Murderer," in which he claims responsibility for the killings that occurred 17 years before. He becomes a best-selling author as a result of the author's endearing appearance and his realistic portrayal of the incident. An episode of a popular TV debate show brings together a detective and a self-proclaimed murderer. Detective Choi, certain that Lee is nothing more than a con artist, renews his pursuit for the ultimate truth. Then, out of nowhere, another man appears, claiming to be the real killer.
