Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

Mary Elizabeth Steppe, often known as Lola, feels that her cultural and amusing world has come to an end when she moves with her mother and two younger twin sisters to the New Jersey suburb of Dellwood. During her time at school, the exiled Lola becomes close with the unpopular Ella, who is a huge fan of her favorite rock band, Sidarthur. However, the most popular girl in school, Carla Santini, contests the lead role in an adaptation of Pygmalion with Lola, as well as the leadership of their respective teams. Lola and Ella plan to travel to New York and get tickets from scalpers when the last Sidarthur show is sold out. However, the girls get into trouble while assisting the lead singer and Lola's idol, Stu Wolf, and their lives are irrevocably altered as a result.
