Daniel, a 20-year-old man, undergoes a spiritual metamorphosis while incarcerated in a Youth Detention Center. He aspires to be a priest, but his criminal past prevents him from achieving this goal. When he is assigned to work in a carpenter's workshop in a small town, he dresses himself as a priest and takes over the parish by accident. The advent of the charismatic young preacher provides an opportunity for the local community to begin the healing process following a tragedy.
