Dead End

"Baby Face" is a thug. Martin returns to his childhood neighborhood in New York, dropping in on his mother, who rejects him due to his criminal lifestyle, and his old girlfriend, Francey, who is now a syphilitic prostitute. Martin also meets Dave, a childhood buddy who is attempting to make it as an architect, and the Dead End Kids, a gang of young boys who walk the streets of the city's East Side slums.
