Having been assigned to conduct business in the United Kingdom by his company, Mike Harper (Rod Taylor) and his wife Janet relocate to the country (Doris Day). Mike's lovely new assistant, Claire, swiftly persuades her that he is still seeing her (Leon Askin). Meanwhile, Mike's British bachelor mates have been spending a great deal of time with him as well. Claire employs Paul (Sergio Fantoni), a lovely antiquities expert, to decorate the Harper home and perhaps make Mike jealous.
