Double Tap
Rick Pang (Leslie Cheung) is an IPSC champion and a gun expert. He modifies his pistols to perfect his "double tap" technique, which involves firing two shots in the same spot. He faces an experienced shooter named Miu in the 1996 IPSC Hong Kong shooting competition (Alex Fong). Unfortunately, the competition was ruined by a depressed friend of Miu's who lost a lot of money on the stock market and threatened the safety of the competition by hurting the IPSC supervisor, who was also a friend of Miu's. Rick had no choice but to use his signature double tap to kill him. Rick found this experience strangely exciting, and it made him realize he wants to kill people in cold blood.
