Driving Miss Daisy
The narrative focuses on an elderly Jewish widow named Daisy Werthan and the relationship that she has with Hoke, her black chauffeur. In a time when friendships of this kind were frowned upon, a deep friendship between two very different people was able to blossom over the course of 25 years from what had begun as a simple working relationship between the two. Oscar-winning tragedy comedy with a star-studded ensemble, adapted from Alfred Uhry's play of the same name, and winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture.
