Electrick Children
Rachel, a hyperactive girl from a polygamist settlement in southern Utah, is the protagonist in ELECTRICK CHILD. Rachel discovers an illegal cassette tape on her 15th birthday. Rachel plays the cassette tape, having never seen anything like it before, and is rewarded with magnificent rock & roll. Rachel believes a miracle has occurred weeks later, and the cassette recording must have had a role. She abandons her family and flees to Las Vegas, the next metropolis. She looks for the band's singer on the cassette tape there. She embarks on a perilous journey and eventually realizes who she truly is: an ELECTRICK CHILD.
