Everything Is Cinema
Chris, a young Keralan independent filmmaker, is inspired by Louis Malle's 1969 documentary Calcutta and wants to remake it. In order to work on his documentary, he relocates to Kolkata with his wife Anita, who is also an actress. The Corona virus outbreak begins in India as the documentary's filming is already underway, and his producer withholds the money that he had earlier agreed to release. Chris and Anita are trapped inside the apartment they are renting in Kolkata as the government-imposed lock-down begins. Without Anita's consent, Chris plans to make a movie about his own marriage in order to release his pent-up anger.
