The fifth season of EXHIBITION ON SCREEN starts with Canaletto & the Art of Venice, an immersive look at the life and art of Venice's most famous view painter. Canaletto, whose full name is Giovanni Antonio Canal, is the only artist who really captures the essence and charm of Venice. The amazing collection of over 200 paintings, drawings, and prints on display show how talented Canaletto and his contemporaries were, as well as how well he captured the city. The movie also gives viewers a chance to go inside Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle to learn more about the artist and about Joseph Smith, who brought Canaletto to Britain.
