Gellert Grindelwald has eluded capture and has begun rallying support for his cause of elevating wizards above all other beings. Albus Dumbledore, the wizard he once referred to as his closest friend, is the only one who can stop him. However, Dumbledore will require the assistance of his former student Newt Scamander, a wizard who has previously foiled Grindelwald, and who agrees to aid despite the dangers that lay ahead.
