Fantastic Planet
The story of the "Oms," which are like people and are kept as pets by an alien race of blue giants called "Draags." The story takes place on the Draags' planet, Ygam, where we follow our narrator, an Om named Terr, from childhood to adulthood. He manages to escape from a Draag learning device that was used to teach the wild Oms, and he starts to plan an Om revolt.
