Fly Me to Polaris

A young man who works as an audio tape typist at a hospital who is blind and deaf is developing a loving relationship with a stunning but reserved nurse. He is traveling to Polaris on his way to a far more advanced state of existence in Vega when he is struck by a car and becomes the sixty billionth person to ever die on Earth. He is granted a five-day reprieve and the opportunity to be with his earthly love once more, but he is unable to reveal his true nature to her behind the temporary façade he must put on. Both the boy and the girl eventually come to understand how love and wonderful things always manage to find their way into people's lives when they are not greedy and least expect these gifts through a tangle of challenging and remarkable circumstances.
