Lauren and Katie, who were "enemies" in college, move in together after each of them lost a relationship and rent control. The girls argue with each other because they live in Katie's late grandmother's apartment in New York City. One night, Lauren walks in on Katie's noisy bedroom activities and finds out a dirty little secret. This news brings them closer together, and Lauren, the smart one, and Katie, the talented one, come up with a business idea that does amazingly well. As profits rise, the girls rethink their hopes and dreams. They realize that just because someone peed in their hair in college doesn't mean they won't be their best friend 10 years later.
