A typical 18-year-old freshman at a large state university from the Midwest is excited to get into the college party scene. Instead, he finds out that school isn't the beer-drinking, sexual fantasy of his dreams, but it's a lot more work than he thought. It doesn't matter what he does to get the girl of his dreams (a beautiful but reluctant sorority girl). He decides to become gay in order to get into her life. This casual act, on the other hand, quickly gets him into a mess of campus activism, gender warfare, fraternity hazing, sorority torture, "coming out" stories, political martyrdom, and a university-wide melt down.
