Johnny Mauser, a failed actor and vagrant, is in desperate need of a fresh start away from all of the turmoil that he has encountered as a result of his current location in the city. It would appear that Mullewapp, a small village with a quaint little farm, is the ideal location for a short getaway from everyday life. In a short amount of time, he strikes up a friendship with Franz von Hahn and Waldemar.
