Get Bruce!
A warm homage to Bruce Vilanch, who creates stuff for celebrities making public appearances, ranging from Oscar hosts and prize recipients to Presidents. We meet his mother and witness images from his youth; he writes for the Chicago Tribune before heading west. Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, and Bette Midler speak with him and to the camera about working with Bruce, and we also see Bruce assisting others in preparing for Liz Taylor's 60th birthday, Bill Clinton's 50th, and an AIDS awards banquet at which the hirsute, rotund Vilanch displays his emotions.
