After forming "The Elite Monster Unit", Charlie, Alex, and Nick weren't the most popular youngsters in their tiny town. They loved chasing famous mythical legends and ghosts, which was uncool to the other kids. So they avoided the "in" crowd. Worse, Charlie had a secret infatuation on Brandy, a popular student and sister of one of the school's greatest bullies.
