Megan Doherty is a young, bright executive who prioritizes her career over her mother and close friends in order to achieve one goal: to MAKE MORE MONEY. Mr. Randolph Whitaker (her boss and CEO) asks Meghan to close a deal of a lifetime when she closes a multi-million dollar transaction. She's taking her skills to the Mojave Desert in the hopes of persuading a Christian landowner to transfer ownership of his property before it goes up for auction. With the prospect of a $100 million dollar agreement looming in the distance, there is nothing that will prevent her from obtaining the resources she requires to advance her career. Not even GOD is exempt from this rule. The foreclosed land in question, known as God's Country, is owned by Eden Graham, a clergyman who lives on the property with his wife and son, Jake, and who runs a youth camp there. Meghan is clearly not a good fit for the camp when she arrives in her Ferrari and luxury clothes, but Eden persuades her to stay by promising to sign over the property to her if she does not become convinced of the worth of what they are doing during her weeklong stay at the camp.
