Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters

The human race is forced to abandon Earth in 2048 after decades of defeat at the hands of Godzilla and other monstrous monsters. They embark on a twenty-year journey to the planet Tau Ceti-e, only to discover upon arrival that it has become inhospitable. As the living circumstances on their ship degrade, Haruo leads a movement to return to Earth and reclaim it from the monsters. The ship successfully completes the return journey, but the crew discovers that 20,000 years have passed and the Earth's biosphere has evolved to become Godzilla-centered.
