Gripped: Climbing the Killer Pillar

This is a movie about a group of people trying to stay alive on the side of a thousand-foot cliff in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. Gripped tells the story of Rose, a gym climber from Los Angeles, who made her first outdoor climb in the movie. In the middle of bouldering with her friend Jade, Rose meets Bret, who is a great outdoorsman. She persuades him to take her on a dangerous rock-climbing route called "Killer Pillar," even though he doesn't want to. When Bret falls, he gets a bad head injury and a torn shoulder. As there is no way down, Rose has to lead the climb up to the top. When night falls, they still have a long way to go, so they have to sleep on a cliffside ledge. The next day, as a storm is coming, Bret can't stay awake. Rose has to save them both.
