Gunfight in Abilene

Fighting in the Civil Battle a male accidently kills his close friend. Returning to Abilene after the battle he locates his former sweetheart about to wed the brother of the man he eliminated. To pay his financial obligation he not just declines to win her back however takes the task of Sheriff, a task he does not desire, when the brother asks him. Still haunted by the murder he declines to lug a weapon. Yet there is difficulty in between the ranchers and the farmers and also when he locates the brother murdered he bands on a gun as well as heads after the killer.
