The Wishbone family does not appear to be very content. Emma is at her wit's end trying to be the perfect mother despite the fact that she has a floundering bookshop, a busy husband, and two kids who don't understand her. After bringing her family to a Halloween costume party against their will, an evil witch bestows upon them a curse that causes them to morph into a vampire, a mummy, a werewolf, and Frankenstein's monster respectively. Now, Emma will have to struggle to keep her Monster Family together and find the secret of their curse, which will finally lead them to Dracula, who is known as the Prince of Darkness.
