Harry & Snowman
When Harry deLeyer arrived in the United States following World War II, he rescued an Amish plow horse from a slaughter truck destined for the glue factory and began a transforming relationship with it. Snowman is the horse that Harry bought for $80. Two years later, Harry and Snowman had won the Triple Crown of show jumping, beating out the country's elite. They were instantly famous and had toured the globe together. Meeting by happenstance in Pennsylvania horse sale saved them both and created a connection that will live forever. Harry, who is now 86 years old, narrates their Cinderella love story as he continues to compete in show jumping on the modern circuit.
