While Christine (Summer Glau) adores Christmas, she wonders if there is more to life than manufacturing toys in the North Pole. When Santa receives an emergency wish from a small child in Los Angeles, he assigns Christine to deliver a holiday wake-up call to the VanCamp family—mom Sara (Eva La Rue), father Scott (Dan Gauthier), and their two children Ally (Izabela Vidovic) and Will (Mason Cook).
