Isla bonita
Menorca in the summertime. Olivia, still a child, has completely lost all sense of reality. She had recently ended a relationship in order to start a new one, but it was over before it had even begun. Nuria, her sculptor mother, comforts her and gives her pragmatic advise. In the wake of Fernando's arrival at their guesthouse, a new wind blows through the island. Fernando seeks to seduce Nuria while Olivia regards him as a father figure. ISLA BONITA is a witty, lighthearted comedy about misunderstandings and the picturesque island of Menorca, and a small tribute to the island's charms. Fernando Colomo, the film's director and star, brings us a semi-autobiographical fiction film.
