Miss Bitterman, the owner of a bank, is interested in purchasing the Muppet Theatre so that she can build a nightclub on top of it. As a result of her deception of Pepe into handing her the only copy of the contract between her father and the Muppets, she alters it so that the Muppets have a limited amount of time to settle a debt they owe to her father. Meanwhile, the Muppets are putting up a Christmas concert for the audience. After being confronted by Bitterman, the Muppets make a great deal of sacrifices in order to save enough money to keep the Theatre open.
