Jakob the Liar

During World War II in Poland, a Jewish shopkeeper called Jakob is brought to the ghetto headquarters when he is caught outside after curfew is lifted. While waiting for the German Kommondant, Jakob overhears a German radio transmission concerning Russian military movements, which he later reports to the Germans. When the shopkeeper returns to the ghetto, he shares his findings with a friend, and rumors begin to circulate that there is a secret radio station hidden within the ghetto.
