As John Light, one of Arizona's most dangerous inmates, rookie Michael Ochotorena plays the role. A jail bible study led John to accept Christ, shocking both guards and convicts. He is eager to share his new beliefs with the world after his release. The outer world is afraid of him since he seems more like a thug than a theologist. His sole allies are his mild-mannered Christian mentor Matt Garrett (Michael Sigler) and his strict parole officer (Dean Cain). John fights for his life with men who have never thrown a punch.
