La Belle Noiseuse
Frenhofer, a former famous painter, lives quietly with his wife in the French Provence countryside. When the young artist Nicolas pays him a visit with his girlfriend Marianne, Frenhofer decides to resume work on a painting he abandoned long ago: La Belle Noiseuse. And he wants Marianne to be his model. Everyone's life is being altered by the newly initiated creative process. It is a struggle for truth, life, and meaning, as well as the question of where the boundaries of art are or whether art is limitless.
