Nela Salah grew up in Créteil, a tower block suburb on the outskirts of Paris. She wants to become a lawyer. She has been accepted to a big university in Paris, and on her first day there, she meets Pierre Mazard, a professor who is known for making mistakes and acting in ways that make people uncomfortable.
