Le Grand Pardon
The Bettoun family is made up of Jewish Blackfoot kingpins of French organized crime, including Raymond, the patriarch, Maurice, Jacky, Roland, and Samy, Raymond's bodyguard. Albert, Raymond's cousin, Pépé, and Samy are all members of the clan. Running casinos, setting up clandestine boxing contests, engaging in illegal gambling, pimping, racketeering, and settling scores with other Arab and French clans are just a few of their illicit endeavors. Pascal Villars, though, has vowed that the Bettoun will be lost in the shadows. He will be successful in pitting the Jewish clan against the Arab clan, greatly assisting police commissioner Duché, who has been striving fruitlessly for ten years to overthrow the Bettouns.
