When Claude Gaspard is moved into their cell, four prisoners have been making plans to literally dig out of jail. They risk telling the new person about their plan. Over the course of three days, the prisoners and their friends use a bed post to break through the concrete floor and start moving through the sewers. However, their escape is far from certain.
