Les Anderson believes his life cannot get any worse after failing his driver's test, but he is mistaken. Les refuses to break his date with the cool Mercedes Lane, even though he hasn't received his license, and decides to lift his family's prize luxury car for the occasion. Unfortunately, Mercedes sneaks some alcohol and passes out drunk, and a befuddled Les makes the mistake of enlisting the help of his rebellious friend, Dean.
