In the year 2058, the chances of there still being life on Earth are not very good. The Robinson family is therefore sent into space to settle Alpha Prime, the only other planet in the galaxy that is known to have a human population. However, after a stowaway sabotages the mission, the Robinson family finds themselves flying through an area of space that has not been explored.
