Monsterpocalypse: Joel Dawson and the rest of humanity have been living underground for seven years. Giant creatures took over the land and haven't let anyone else live there. He meets up with Aimee over the radio and starts to fall for her again. She lives 80 miles away at a coastal colony, but Joel starts to fall for her again. There is nothing left for Joel to do underground, so he decides to go out and find Aimee, even though there are dangerous monsters blocking his way. This is against all common sense.
