Love on the Rise
Victoria Worthington is a gifted cake designer who observes life from the sidelines as she delivers her gorgeous cakes to weddings, galas, and fantastic parties, weary. While delivering one of her cakes, she mistakenly identifies a wealthy, sought-after bachelor, Jacob Adams III, as a wedding waiter. Victoria asks her mystery man, who goes by the name of Jake, to help her get the cake to her house. They appear to share an unusual bond, and fate intervenes when they later reconnect in a coffee shop. He ends up accompanying her to a protest against Adams Development, which is planned to demolish her beloved bakery, but she has no idea that Jake is one of the Adams. Victoria is falling in love, but can their relationship endure once she realizes he is Jacob Adams III, and will her business survive?
