Manderlay
Following her departure from Dogville in1933, Grace Margaret Mulligan visits the cotton estate Manderlay where she witnesses the punishment of a slave. Due to its illegal nature, Grace refuses to submit to the owners of the property. With the help of the local mafia in Manderlay, she is attempting to change the situation. It isn't until after the harvest that Grace begins to see the social and economic realities of Manderlay.
