Maggie, an editor at a book publishing company, wants to help her boss, Amanda, find a date for the Christmas party that is coming up soon. Maggie likes to help people find each other, but when her old college boyfriend, Jaxson, shows up at her work as a newly signed, successful author, she isn't sure what to do anymore. Maggie would like to say that she doesn't still love him, but Jaxson isn't making it easy for her to do that. She'll have to think about the choices she's made in the past, as well as Amanda's interest in Jaxson, in order to find the perfect Christmas match for both of them.
