Mayerling
Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria and his father, Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, have disagreements about how to make their country more progressive. Rudolf starts to feel like he was born at the wrong time in a country that doesn't know it needs social change. The Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII of Britain, is funny. Rudolf escapes his unhappy marriage to Princess Stéphanie by having an affair with Baroness Maria Vetsera. Their untimely death at Mayerling, the hunting lodge of the imperial family, is a mystery.
