In this computer-animated story, the brilliant preteen inventor Lewis constructs a memory scanner in order to recall his earliest memories and discover the reason his mother placed him for adoption. But when the wicked Bowler Hat Guy steals the gadget, Lewis is ready to give up on his mission. That is, until the mysterious Wilbur Robinson shows up on the scene and whisks Lewis away to the future to find the scanner and his mother.
