A former mercenary who is burned out, jaded, and hard up, Nick Gunar is having a terrible time transitioning to normal life. As a last resort, he is hired by the Nitro Mine Corporation to coerce the inhabitants of a South China Sea island into relinquishing their ownership rights to the island's precious minerals. Nick despises the idea of embarking on another mission, but this supposedly simple assignment would provide him with enough money to reunite with his estranged family. He enlists the assistance of some of his former mercenary colleagues to complete the mission. Islanders are adamant in their refusal to give up their land, and Nick chooses to assist them in their battle against the wealthy business which hired him. As greed and deceit begin to unravel, Nick's gang of mercenaries must decide which side they will take.
