Midnight at the Magnolia

Maggie and Jack were childhood friends, and now as adults, they give dating advice together on their popular local radio show, which is very popular. Because their show is being looked at for national syndication, their boss tells them to invite their significant others to a live New Year's Eve show. Maggie and Jack agree to the special, as long as it's held at their father's local jazz club, The Magnolia. They know that the club is having money problems. In fact, before the event, Maggie and Jack are both dumped. Jack suggests that they pretend to be a couple and surprise their listeners with the news during a kiss at midnight on New Year's Eve!
