Mr. Deeds
When Longfellow Deeds, a poet and proprietor of a pizza shop in a small town, discovers that his late uncle left him $40 billion, he suddenly finds himself rolling in a different type of dough. After moving to the big city, Deeds discovers that he is surrounded by opportunists who are all vying for a piece of the pie for himself. Babe, a television tabloid reporter, assumes the identity of a naive girl from a nearby town so that she can conduct an investigation into Deeds.
