Mr. Peabody, a middle-aged Bostonian on vacation in the Caribbean with his wife, hears weird, wordless singing on an unoccupied rock in the bay, as told to a psychiatrist. He captures...a mermaid while fishing in the area. He takes her home and falls in love with her despite the fact that she speaks no English. Of course, his wife isn't convinced that the creature in the bathtub isn't a giant fish. In a pretty tame approach, predictable complications follow.
