Murder, My Sweet

Gumshoe Philip Marlowe is hired by the oafish Moose Malloy to search for his ex-girlfriend, who has been missing for several years. He's also been recruited to escort an effeminate playboy as he attempts to reclaim some stolen gems. When the transaction results in the murder of the playboy, Marlowe is unable to leave the matter alone and quickly discovers that it is connected to Malloy's death. Because of a strange blonde who draws him deeper into a complex web of intrigue, the detective finds his own life in more danger as the investigation progresses.
