My Dad's Christmas Date

York, which is home to 16-year-old Jules, and her father David, has been decked out for the holiday. A lot of the time, David and Jules' relationship is just like that of most fathers and their sixteen-year-old daughters. He can't understand her, and she won't talk to him. He wants to be in her life, but she wants to be alone. The death of Jules' mother, and David's wife, in a car accident two years ago is what binds David and Jules together in one important way. It is hard for both of them to live in the shadow of their loss, but Jules, inspired by happy memories of her mother, decides to do something about it.
