Violetta and her mother Hannah make an odd couple. Violetta, ten years old, lives quietly with her grandmother, while Hannah, her mother, is an erratic photographer who survives on the kindness of others. Violetta's existence with her beloved grandma is turned upside down once Hannah compels her daughter to pose as a model.
