Never Cry Wolf

This film is based on the true story of Farley Mowat, who was sent to the Canadian tundra to gather evidence of the wolf population's alleged harm to caribou herds. In his struggle to survive in that harsh environment, he studies wolves and discovers that the old beliefs about wolves and their supposed threat are almost entirely false. Furthermore, he discovers that humans pose a far greater threat to the land, as well as to wolves, a species that plays an important role in the northern ecosystem.
